How expensive are those pots? I see some on digikey for $1 or $2. If you're hourly, wouldn't it be better to just replace?

I’m so curious what you charge for these repairs. Do you charge a diag fee? This repair seemed to take a long time. Was it really worth it to repair that part vs replace?

How do you replace an analog pot with a digital encoder (assuming that is what you are referring to). Those are two completely different things.
