Attention: Ministry of Roads and Highways, Ghana Highways Authority Location: Adawso → Nketepa, Kwahu South District, Eastern Region, Ghana I am writing to bring to the urgent attention of the government, the Ministry of Roads and Highways, and the Ghana Highways Authority the bad condition of the Adawso to Nketepa road. This road is in very poor condition. It is full of deep potholes, broken sections, and serious erosion. When it rains, the road cannot be used. No cars, trucks, vans, or even motorcycles can use it. Many communities along the road are completely cut off. This is not just one community road. The people along the Adawso to Nketepa road are farmers and fishermen who feed this country. They grow large quantities of onions, peppers, groundnuts, and other food crops that are sent to markets across Ghana. They also do fishing, which provides food and jobs for thousands of families. Because of the bad state of this road, farmers struggle to transport their produce to Nketepa Market and to other towns. Traders lose goods. Prices go up. Food that should reach Accra, Kumasi, and other parts of the country gets spoiled before it gets there. Fishermen also cannot move their catch on time, and this affects food supply and incomes. The situation is worst on Nketepa Market day, when hundreds of traders, buyers, and transporters from many communities depend on this road. Motorcycle accidents have become very common because of the potholes and bad road. Students, teachers, health workers, drivers, and ordinary citizens all suffer every day. The people of all the communities along this road are kindly asking the government and the Ministry of Roads and Highways for urgent help to fix this road. This road is not only about one town. It is about food, safety, and the economy of the Eastern Region and Ghana as a whole. We cannot continue to produce food for the nation while we are cut off from the rest of the country. Fixing the Adawso to Nketepa road will help farmers, fishermen, traders, students, and every Ghanaian who depends on the food from this area. This is about the road and the people. Please share to help amplify this message. #FixAdawsoNketepaRoad #AdawsoToNketepa #KwahuSouth #EasternRegion #MinistryOfRoads
