Yes manatees, alligators, crocodiles, pythons, iguanas, sharks etc etc -they are in the water- 😍 East coast, Miami, West Coast & Panhandle of Fl are all very different.

manatees are harmless, but you can’t touch them. The gators at the springs will typically leave you alone, it’s the snakes you gotta worry about lol also, gators are in EVERY body of water.

If you want to go for a swim, then for the most part stick to the ocean, it’s a safe assumption that any inland body of water has alligators in it

The manatees won't bother you but you're not allowed to mess with them and alligators swim in the same water and alligators won't mess with you as long as you're not bothering them

You have to assume that any body of water in Fl has a gator in it. We also have crocodiles here they’re in the ocean though. You can get manatees and gators in the same waters that connect to the ocean. Waters are brackish when that happens.
