My GG's name was Aloisa AND SHE FORGOT IT. She went by Lois, had Louise inscribed on her headstone, and all of (her included) wondered for years how you got Lois from Louise. I found it on Ancestry and called her. That woman said to me, "Well, I guess that does sound better than Louise, doesn't it?" Girl, I had three whole daughters and you're telling me that one of them could have been Aloisa, BUT YOU FORGOT YOUR OWN BEAUTIFUL NAME?
