The truth is, Egypt profits from the Palestinian issue. Without it, Egypt has nothing real to offer the world. That’s why everyone keeps inflating the “Palestinian story” — it creates traffic and headlines. And the Palestinians? It’s convenient for them too. They’ve been living off the UN and international aid for years. The moment they get a real state — that aid stops. No one really wants a solution, because the problem is too profitable.
