Having no reaction this time makes me wonder if maybe you're allergic to something they use to clean the shrimp in the US rather than the shrimp itself??? I had a friend who was allergic to a specific "cleaner" used on fish, seafood and some fruits and stuff. As long as she could avoid the stuff it was typically cleaned in for "mass production" she could eat the food.
