I just came across your page and saw your hubby and my hubby passed on the same exact day just a year apart🥺 Lost mine 7/10/24 to what we believe was a heart attack in his sleep💔 I'm so sorry for your loss and that you have to be apart of this God awful club! 🙏🥺

this... hit 😳 addition takes the most amazing and beautiful people, turns them into something Noone recognizes, not even themselves. everyone suffers. And we will never know or understand the pain, struggles, and turmoil they were in. I also lost my husband to addition. thank you for this post

Yes….mine asked for a kiss goodnight which was kinda weird. He died that night lying next to me😭 Life changed and that was 17 years ago …. But my 2 kids and i made it 🥲

I’m so sorry for your loss. My husband was in active addiction about 6 years ago and by the grace of God, he is sober today but I’m very familiar that he could relapse…my thoughts and prayers are with you

Addiction is a way to deal with pain and trauma...we will never know a peraon 100% even if you stay with them 24 hours a day

Addiction is so hard. I’ve lost two siblings to addiction and I grieve everyday. I was an addiction RN and couldn’t help them. It’s awful. God bless you.

Watching your latest post about your husband donating his organs and seeing him here makes me sad but at the same time so proud of your husband for the kindness and generosity to help other people. Im sorry for your loss and i hope u find peace that despite you lost him, he will still be alive not just in your heart but in other people's lives. 💐🤍

Same with my dad I don’t recognize the person he is anymore. I didn’t have the experience in life yet to understand when or why it started. My kids will never experience how great he was before it all went down hill.

This hurts my soul so much. I’ve lost a few amazing loving people to addiction and almost lost myself as well. Countless nights of dope sick, countless overdoses, constantly hurting everyone around me that tried to love me but it was never enough to kill the pain I felt in my soul. Pain and suffering was all I knew. Now I’m almost 5 years off the needle. So sorry for your loss I know the feeling. I hope you and your children have found forgiveness and love in your hearts because trust me you all need it

My heart is broken for you. I was married to an alcoholic/addict for many years. Loving an addict is the most all-consuming thing I've ever done. We're divorced now.. he's clean.. supposedly.. I still talk to him.. he's definitely not clean and sober.
