For anyone that doesn’t know! Salvation Army has women shelters, men shelters and DV shelters. They have also have food pantry, classes , and help connect you with other resources and get your housing voucher faster for section 8 and housing authority. Also if you have managed Medicaid ask them if they help you with find affordable housing! They usually partner with 3rd party to help Medicaid members get stable housing.

I know that you’re unable to work at the moment and am curious how you’re able to get your own place long term. I’m very happy you are though!! 🤍🤍🤍

I’d love to say- if the person is a veteran especially if they are disabled please please reach out to your local DAV or even VFW etc. my husband helps run our local DAV and they are absolutely equipped to help with things like this.
