Cambodia attacked hospital??Cambodia's Unethical Aggression Against Thai Civilians In a blatant violation of international humanitarian principles, Cambodian forces launched a deliberate and indiscriminate attack on civilian areas within Thailand. The assault targeted critical civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools filled with children, a gas station, and a 7-Eleven convenience store. As a result of this heinous act, more than two schoolchildren were tragically killed, and a total of eight innocent civilians — including children — lost their lives. Such an attack represents a grave breach of moral and legal norms, and underscores a deeply concerning disregard for civilian life by the Cambodian authorities. We, the people of Thailand, hereby declare that our nation has always stood for peace, diplomacy, and mutual respect among neighboring countries. However, recent acts of aggression initiated by the Kingdom of Cambodia have violated these principles and endangered innocent Thai lives. On 24 July 2025, Cambodian military forces fired the first shots, thereby initiating an unprovoked act of war against Thailand. As a result, Thai civilians and soldiers have lost their lives, and the sovereignty of our nation has been threatened. The international community must be made fully aware of the facts: Cambodian forces preemptively laid landmines in contested territory, causing serious injuries to Thai soldiers—a deliberate and unlawful act that violates both international norms and humanitarian law. Worse still, Cambodia has targeted innocent civilians. Their military actions have caused destruction to hospitals, local shops, and even fuel stations—critical infrastructure that should never be touched under any circumstances. These acts are not just reckless; they represent clear violations of the Geneva Conventions and may constitute war crimes. The Cambodian military’s repeated disregard for civilian lives and basic humanitarian principles shows a pattern of behavior that the world cannot ignore.
