My mother in law is a retired teacher so when i got a long term teaching job 2 years ago. My husband said he already paid his dues working in his mom’s classroom and he would not be helping me do anything. 🤣

if it makes you feel any better, us teachers basically work at the school for free. AND in elementary there’s no planning period or lunch break 🤷🏽♀️
