Found out recently that this character was originally written as a drag queen but they thought it would be too shocking so they switched it for a plump Hugh Hefner character type.

I’ve seen the show twice in Brisbane and we’re planning on a third visit. Loved meeting Reuben Kaye and the rest of the cast - they were so warm and friendly, even after giving such a high-intensity performance. 😍😍😍🎭

I thought this was the Hollywood Bowl and I was shocked they’d cast the actual perfect Herod… then I saw the Hollywood Bowl and it was uhh… the snowman from Frozen with the flu and Uncle Jesse from Full House with 48 hours of preparation? 👀
