Dessert just became your new favourite snack hack 🍓✨ Ingredients (3-4 slices): 1 white block loaf, unsliced 3 tbls butter, softened 2 tbls maple syrup (plus extra for drizzling) Pinch sea salt 2 tbls brown sugar Vanilla ice cream, to serve Fresh strawberries, sliced Method: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut loaf into 2cm slices, remove crusts, to form thick squares. In a bowl, mix butter, maple syrup, salt, and brown sugar into a thick paste. Coat all sides of the bread squares with the maple butter paste. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Let cool for 5-10 minutes to crisp up further. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream, sliced strawberries, and an extra drizzle of maple syrup.
