Sometimes I think I forget what it means to be human. At least my perception. I have to remind myself with love and grace that to be human means to be imperfect, to have flaws. That’s kinda what makes life- life. What would this all mean and be if everything was just perfect? How would we learn? What would the point even be?? This video / this flow sesh brought this topic to my mind. As I watched this video in my drafts and debated on editing it or deleting it because I dropped the flow star and it wasn’t a clean flow. I am posting this video unedited, because I am human. I feel like social media is a big reason we have been programmed to even desire a aesthetic “perfect” life in the first place. While social media has its darkness. For there to be darkness there always has to be light-Polar opposites, duality. For me to accept my perfectionism and welcome it, instead of continuing to feed it by micromanaging my own life- it then becomes acceptance itself. Going from - “it has to be flawless for me to be worthy.” To- “I’m allowed to be human- and that’s enough.” #flow #selfacceptance #healing
