@infinity.car.spar: The main parts of a car engine and their functions. Each component is shown in an exploded view, allowing us to see the order and position of its installation in the engine. Here's an explanation of each part: Rocker Cover The top cover of the engine that protects the rocker arms and keeps oil in the cylinder head. Camshaft The camshaft that regulates the opening and closing of the valves according to combustion timing. Cylinder Head The upper part of the engine's combustion chamber, containing the camshaft, valves, and air/fuel inlet/exhaust ports. Valve Regulates the intake of the air-fuel mixture and the exhaust of exhaust gases from the combustion chamber. Cylinder Block The main structure of the engine where the pistons move up and down. Also known as the cylinder block. Piston The component that moves up and down in the cylinder to convert combustion energy into mechanical energy. Flywheel The flywheel stores the rotational energy from the engine and helps maintain a stable engine speed. Crankshaft The crankshaft converts the up-and-down motion of the pistons into rotary motion to drive the vehicle's wheels. Crankcase The lower housing of the engine that houses the crankshaft and often also serves as a reservoir for engine oil. Overall, this diagram shows how engine parts work together in the internal combustion cycle to produce power for the vehicle. It is very useful for mechanical training or basic automotive education. #Infinitycarspares⚙️🔩🔧🇿🇦📌✅
