@biaishere.jpg: akihiko and uegtsu are not talked about enough, they are literally both victims to a toxic relationship like please my babies. in fact, here’s a rant about them because they are NOT spoken about enough: when people first see akihiko and ugetsu, all they notice is their toxicity. whilst they are toxic, they are so much more that. they are a tragic and heartbreaking portrayal of two boys bound together by passion and their familiar connection through music, not to mention, their strong and harsh love for each other; but that isn’t enough. whilst their shared love of music is what firstly brings them together, it only causes an inflation for insecurity and egotism. their relationship is dependent on physical intimacy, but their emotions are disconnected and causes great turmoil for both of them, furthermore, their emotional disconnection leads to Ugetsu’s tendency to self-sabotage and akihiko’s codependency — both whom are too afraid to leave, but at the same time, not willing to better themselves. uegstu is so in love with akihiko that it’s killing him, and even though he left akihiko first, he is still drawn to him and finds himself not able to leave him alone, moreover, he isn’t able to stop loving him despite both of their flaws. love isn’t enough, unfortunately, ugetsu will always pick the art of music and his musical career over his relationship. ugetsu self-sabotages and does things with the sole purpose of hurting akihiko with the hopes that their toxic relationship will end, even if uegstu truthfully doesn’t want it too. their separation was tough and painful, but it was so needed. in their own way, it depicts the idea that love isn’t just shown through words or actions, but also the act of letting go; no matter how hard it is. they loved each other too much, and it resulted in an understanding that their love wasn’t enough to keep their relationship afloat. their relationship was a fickle thing and both had been convinced that them loving each other could be enough — but their relationship was proof that it wasn’t true, love cannot always be enough. i love their relationship despite their flaws, and the depth of their relationship needs to be talked about more. okay rant over! if you read all this i love you mwah #given #givenanime #akihiko #akihikokaji #ugetsu #ugetsumurata #anime #animeedit #fyp #trending #foryou #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #dontflop #angst #toxic
