Creamy Cheesy Potato Bake with Minced Meat This whole dish comes together in less than one hour🙂‍↕️✨ Ingredients: • 7-8 potatoes • 2 packs of grated cheese (1x Cheddar, 1x Mozzarella) Minced Meat Sauce • 700 g minced meat (beef or mixed) • 1 onion, finely chopped • 2 tbsp paprika • 2 tbsp tomato paste • 100 gr tomato sauce • 100 ml soya cream • 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp pepper • 1 tbsp Italian Herb • Vegetable broth Cream Sauce • 200 ml soya cream (or any other cream) • 200 g cream cheese • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp pepper • Pinch of nutmeg • 1 tsp smoked paprika Optional topping • Green Onion • Parmesan INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Prepare the Potatoes Slice the potatoes (not too thin, not too thick). Boil them in salted water for about 25–30 minutes until soft. Drain and set aside. 2. Prepare the Ground Beef While the potatoes are boiling, cook the ground beef in a pan. Add all the ingredients for the meat mixture (onion, tomato paste, tomato sauce, soya cream, Seasoning, vegetable broth). Cook until everything is well combined and the sauce becomes rich. 3. Prepare the Sauce When the ground beef is ready, remove it from the pan. In the same pan, add the ingredients for the sauce and stir until it starts to boil. 4.Assemble the Casserole Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease your baking dish. Add a layer of boiled potatoes. Pour some of the light cream sauce over them. Add the ground beef mixture. Add another layer of boiled potatoes. Pour the rest of the cream sauce on top. Finish with a generous amount of cheese. 4. Bake Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes. Until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbling. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
