This plant one is 'not suppose' to ask permission to pluck....its supposedly 'pantang' or taboo its stalk is meant for cleansing when one attends a funeral 😏

In Vietnam, the area where I live, if the neighbors want to use the plants outside, they can take them as they please, as long as they don't destroy or take them away, that's fine.

This plant no need to ask permission. Just pluck a few leaves if you attending funeral. I suggest the owner remove the plant if so stingy to bless others
