@savechildrenuk: Earlier this year, our incredible colleague Shaima visited Gaza for eight weeks. Whenever she met any children, they loved it when she took photos. However, Shaima didn't realise the deeper meaning behind it until a child told her: "Show everyone that you know that I was here." They wanted to show the world that they existed. These children have names, favourite subjects in school and hopes and dreams for the future, just like any other children in the UK and across the world. We refuse to allow their suffering to become normalised. The UK Government cannot stand by whilst Gaza’s population is starved, displaced and bombed in plain sight. The UK has been an ally to Israel's atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank by approving the supply of British-made parts for F-35 fighter jets, providing diplomatic cover to the Government of Israel and failing to meaningfully hold them accountable. Now is the time to make our voices heard: Call on Keir Starmer and David Lammy to end the UK Government’s complicity. Sign our petition via the link in bio.
