My mother is like this. I went no contact 10 years ago and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made as a mother of girls. Keeping them away from her has protected them. Keeping myself away has made me a better more stable person. This is the right move. Protect yourself legally tho because it sounds like they could get litigious and petty. Document everything. Keep a journal. Be clear and not bogged down with emotions. Be safe and I’m so proud of you and you’re doing the best thing for your kid
