@kayli.kiing: where to find the “scary via feratta” 👇🏼 It is located in Mürren, Switzerland. You can’t get to the start by driving so you have to go to Parkplatz Lauterbrunnen Kirche and park there. From there, you’ll buy a train + gondola ticket (or if you’ve got extra time, you could hike to the top?? maybe??). The ticket for the round trip was $37.50. We rented our gear from Intersport before and it was $15 for the bungees only (we had our own helmets and harnesses). Once you get off the tram at the top, follow the signs! Or you can find “Mürren Via Feratta” on AllTrails. I honestly thought the bridge was more sus than the side of the cliff - mostly because you don’t have much to hold onto for most of it and it swings 😅 The super exposed part is not that long as well. A lot of the trail is pretty chill! The super blue trail is Oeschinen Lake near Kandersteg. It is as blue as it looks online and was stunning! We didn’t take the gondola up, just hiked up from the base parking lot it was 9.1 miles, 2900 ft elevation gain. On All Trails it is Oeschinesee - Oberbärgli -Abweid - Läger. Also make sure to check that the lake you swim in allows swimming!! but yeah would love to hear any other recs for Switzerland before I head over to Iceland 🤠💕 #mürren #viaferrata #travelswitzerland #backpackeurope
