I finally got some time to myself this weekend (anyone else feel like the weeks are just go go GO lately?), so I popped the kettle on, PJs on, grabbed my punch needle kit, and just lost myself for a few hours. Bliss! There’s something so incredibly soothing about it, the rhythm of the needle, the soft texture of the yarn, the satisfaction of seeing your design start to take shape... Honestly, it’s like giving your brain a big hug. You don’t need to be an expert either, just pop on some music or a cosy telly show in the background and away you go. It’s proper mindful crafting too. I always say, crafting’s not just about making beautiful things, it’s about giving yourself permission to slow down, to switch off from the noise and do something just for you. And punch needle is perfect for that. Whether you're making a little wall hanging, a cushion cover or just experimenting with patterns for the fun of it, it’s such a joy.
