my initial issue was data breaches but I hadn't even considered this... imma buy LGBTQ+ books when I have the spare cash and pop them in our local phone box libraries so there's some sort of material out there for our younger ones who need support

I don’t think it was intentional. I think the bill was made by people who have no idea how complex the internet is and they didn’t think outside of what they were focused on. So now until they make revisions and changes OR the websites make changes, people will suffer for something that you can bypass really easy.
