I know I'm gonna catch heat from bikers for this but nowhere should it be legal to split lanes. Just no reason for it and adds to risk.

I feel like this is how people should be more often.... because what we just witnessed was an accident and admittedly when traffic and speed is involved the stakes are raised. absolutely amazing on the driver for acknowledging their part and coming back and checking on the rider and I imagined an exchange of some insurance information.... an amazing for the rider for not escalating what would be an understandable righteous indignation

How is this comment section blaming the motorcycle. The bmw was clearly at fault. They did almost everything wrong. No blinker, abruptly made the merge, they did it way too close to the right lane vehicle, etc.
