@smollentine: Needless to say, the Cat Shelter is CLOSED until further notice. My heart is shattered, I’m exhausted and trying to find the silver lining in things but it’s just really hard right now. 💔 The repairs are going to be TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars and I just don’t know what to do. With uncovering each step we find another problem. It’s terrible, and what’s even worse is while we are going through this we are having to turn cats away that need a safe haven. It’s defintely hard to come up for air at this point. Right now I’m just trying to take it one step at a time.

This video wasn’t my original idea, but when I saw this concept, it gave me the idea to add my own words to it: “You can’t change the world. You can change the way you see it.” I think we always have two sides of the story inside us. Sometimes it’s really hard to find something good or stay optimistic when things around us feel overwhelming. But the way we choose to look at things can change a lot. Maybe we just need to give a little more strength to the other side.
