@explorethevine: The second bottle from Roche Wines we’re trying is their Artist Series Pinot Gris. The label art was done by Marina Billinghurst and it’s terrific! I get a lot of questions around Pinot, whether red or white. One thing that is frequent is what is the difference between Pinot Gris vs Pinot Grigio? The answer is convoluted, but they are the same grape varietal, however the style can be quite different. Pinot Grigio is usually a lot lighter and more neutral compared to the fruit dominant, rich and often higher alcohol Pinot Gris. The Okanagan makes a ton of great Pinot Gris, and Roche Wines has made a banger!
