I love this so much! I find it interesting that when things need changing generationally we always put it on the backs of the younger generation. I’m a younger millennial so I’m only 30. The oldest Gen Z is around 26 or 27. And I remember being in college, where the rest of the world was saying millennials were going to change the world. And I think one of the best ways to be mindful of the ways in which we want a better society is to remember that it’s something that we have to do intergenerationally. because Gen Z is no more responsible for the betterment of society than millennials were 10 years ago. If we’re all alive, it’s all of our jobs to create a better reality.

I’m excited for the things Gen Z will do but you are not alone. This isn’t all on Gen Z to fix. Community based is the way to go and many of us have been working on this. Also, we gotta realize all skin folk ain’t kin folk. Look at all the POC who willingly signed up for ICE.
