The guest are 100% in the wrong about the credit card charges, but you have to let them leave trespassed or not they weren’t refusing to leave. They waited for the police and then the police did not let them leave. They arrested them.😜

As someone who works the desk at a hotel, with supervisor experience..the guest service agent is right. It’s not her fault the card declined and while the system does place an authorized hold, it can’t hold what’s not in the account. It will show declined. I’ve dealt with trashy people like this and it’s extremely satisfying to trespass them. Don’t travel if you don’t have the funds then blame the hotel. 😂
