@freedomreins16: This is just the beginning of Humphrey getting his life back. He has a slow, long recovery ahead of him, but I can't stress enough that this is what your support & donations make possible Both of his stifles have pretty bad osteytic changes to them (similar to Moosette & Munchie). He has a large bone fragment in one of his stifles also. This may need an arthroscopy like Munchie had in the coming months, but right now he isn't strong enough for surgery. He is getting corrective farrier work on his clubbed hind hooves to gradually stretch his hind tendons. On top of all these issues he was beat to hell by other horses in the auction pens. He needs time & a lot of it, but he's on his uphill climb. These rehabs typically end up being more expensive than any major surgeries (although he may need one in a few months). The day to day care, farrier work, injections, continual series of X-rays add up. He's a huge commitment & he needs an army behind him the whole way Any help, even $5, towards his ongoing care is truly life saving for him.
