@hair_by_mika_: Hope this helps at least some that do their own colour at home ☺️ When darkening hair - always use a semi permanent instead of a permanent dye Permanent dye uses a higher peroxide (typically 6%) and it will lift your natural colour slightly before it darkens it, leaving the base of your hair lighter once the tone of the colour starts to wash out #diycolouring #boxdyedhair #boxdyeadvice #hairstylistadvice #diyhairdye
I done my hair with colour touch plus on my roots 55/07 and it’s faded a orangish brown on the roots and the rest is a dark brown could I use 5/1 ash to cover this or could I use a base 5 to cover or mix the two. I know the ash will come out a lil darker but I just want that orangish band covered x

So if I have darker natural roots (from using a colour remover) I’m better off with a permanent? x

Hey.. you may or may not remember me😂.. but we were at college together and funnily enough lived next to each other 😂! My hairdresser told me my hair is too damaged to bleach it.. (this was months ago) I’ve not been dying it, I’ve been using hair masks, better products etc. I’m getting impulsive and going to end up bleaching my hair at home😂any tips 😂? Xx
