Jake should have said something way before about his anxiety of hospital and blood. I understand him not being the in delivery room due to passing out or having an anxiety attack during the birth. Then he had the nerve to leave the hospital?! That’s no possible excuse for that.

This sounds like he either had an affair or something is serious wrong with him. One thing is for sure he is not invested in this relationship and the child. Who misses that? Delivery room I understand even though he should have said that so she can ask someone else. But leaving the hospital shows she will be alone in the long run.

Makes me think with all of his phone use that he was made to choose between the affair partner and his wife and he chose wrong. That’s why he showed up like he did. He felt guilty after the fact.There’s no way to come back from this in a time that you really needed him he wasn’t there. You could have had a medical emergency and nobody would have been able to reach him. Wow cannot imagine someone doing this to your partner.
