Sorrry to ask but didn’t even men of God lament in the Bible when it got tough? Even Jesus said let this cup pass over me, that means in that moment it was heavy for him. Why do we feel like we’re always supposed to be joyful even when things are not great? Why can’t we lament to our father, the Bible said the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He’s okay with us lamenting to him, he can handle it. Some of the psalms is David lamenting, even job. I understand that no matter what, don’t turn your back on God. Go through it with God but I feel like it’s okay to ask God why sometimes? He can handle it.
