There are over 10 versions of this song that were bounced in the Pro Tools session, the 12th most finalized version was leaked February 5, 2023. The first open verse and second open verse (which are both segmented differently, and the second only having its acapella shared at the time) leaked on April 18, 2023. background: The first snippet of the song was leaked sometime in August of 2019, when the seller was looking to sell the song. In 2021, a new snippet leaked on a now deleted website used for selling unreleased music. Many fans assumed this song was called "Jada". Over a year after the second snippet leaked, a third snippet leaked on July 22, 2022. Soon after, a fourth snippet leaked after someone played a snippet of the song on a discord call that was secretly recorded and sent out to the public. On February 5, 2023, a few higher quality snippets of the song were leaked. A group buy was planned, but the seller's thread disappeared without any notice. It was later revealed that they had privately bought the song and were trying to re-sell it. After two weeks of privately owning the song, someone convinced the buyer to leak it. A screenshot of the "Like That" Pro Tools session surfaced on July 2, 2023. The final non-open verse version leaked along with the full session on January 4, 2024.
