My dad has been in a detention in Otay Mesa in CA since June 2nd 🥲his bond was granted on July 11th we paid and it was approved and then Dhs filled with an intent to appeal which gave them 10 days to file an appeal and they waited till there’s last day to appeal, then they get 30 days to show proof for their appeal and to fight the appeal it takes 3-6months and even after that you could still get told no 🥲🥲🥲my dad has been in the U.S since 2005, his case was closed and they let him stay here with no legal status, he did have a work number this was in 2015. He has no criminal record and does have U.S citizen children one that is 13 )): he decided to self deport instead he leaves sometime this week or next
