Not a criticism, just an idea, but when grandpa asks about family members who have passed, maybe you could just say you're not sure. When you tell him they've passed he could relive that sadness unnecessarily. Just a thought...he's so sweet

This brings back memories, had a similar discussion with my parents not so long ago... my Mom said she would get cremated & my dad buried. My Mom had vascular dementia, at the time. The next day my mom was brushing her hair, my sister asked where are you going ? she replied I thought we were going to get cremated today. LoL.
