People are meaner now, they don’t put in effort, they don’t even try to listen or acknowledge or remember anything you tell them, but always except you to keep giving and giving. It’s been so hard making friends in this generation to the point I don’t rlly feel like I have any friends who rlly care about me the way I care about others

i’ve never been the “wokest” person but i came of age on left-wing irony twitter and it’s shocking the regressive things so-called “leftists” on this app genuinely believe. social media has perfected itself for engagement — everything that pops off is ragebait and hot takes. it’s not the foundation for real political discourse, but people form their entire worldview around it. it existed before, but it’s MUCH worse now

i was watching a yt vid about budgeting and the dude straight up said the r slur but did bleep it his guest at the time said “you really cant say tht” host then went on to say “woke is gone, r-slur is back” and continued the show like no biggie
