I prefer being alone, people call it attitude, but I call it my standards. In life, I have learned that being alone is not always a sign of sadness or weakness. Sometimes, it is a choice made by someone who values peace, self-respect, and personal growth. Not everyone deserves access to your time, energy, and thoughts. There comes a point when you understand that protecting your peace is more important than pleasing everyone around you. I do not believe in keeping people close just because I am afraid of being alone. I believe in keeping those people close who genuinely respect me, understand my values, and appreciate my presence. People often misunderstand silence. They think a quiet person has an attitude, considers himself superior, or does not care about anyone. But the truth is that not everyone needs to explain themselves to the world. Sometimes, silence is the best response, distance is the best decision, and walking away is the smartest choice. I have no desire to prove my worth to people who have already decided to misunderstand me. My life is not a competition, and I do not need to win everyone's approval to feel confident about myself. I respect people regardless of their status, money, or position, because respect shows character. However, respect does not mean allowing others to cross my boundaries. I can be kind without being weak, humble without feeling inferior, and silent without being afraid. I believe that real standards are not about showing attitude or acting differently in front of others. They are about knowing what you deserve, understanding what you will accept, and having the courage to walk away from situations that disturb your peace. Being alone gives me time to understand myself better. It allows me to focus on my goals, improve my mindset, and work toward becoming a better version of myself. Instead of wasting my energy on unnecessary arguments, fake friendships, and meaningless comparisons, I choose to invest that energy in my future. I know that not everyone will understand my choices, and that is perfectly fine. Everyone has their own perspective, but I have my own principles, and I do not need to change them just to fit into someone else's expectations. I believe that quality matters more than quantity, whether it is friendship, relationships, or the people I allow into my life. One honest person is better than a hundred people who only stay when everything is going well. I would rather enjoy my own company than surround myself with people who bring negativity, jealousy, or dishonesty into my life. Peace of mind is valuable, and once you understand its importance, you stop chasing people who do not appreciate you. At the end of the day, I am not trying to impress anyone or prove that I am different. I simply want to live according to my values, protect my self-respect, and build a life that makes me proud. People can call it attitude, ego, or distance, but they do not have to understand my reasons. I know who I am, what I want, and what kind of energy I want around me. I do not hate people, and I do not consider myself better than anyone. I just believe that my peace deserves protection and my standards deserve respect. If choosing peace means walking alone sometimes, then I am comfortable with that choice. After all, being alone is better than losing yourself trying to belong everywhere.
