I am the her in your story. I can tell you she absolutely knows this is how you feel, and why you do it. She loves you and will take it as slow as you need to take it. She is learning how to love you the way you need to be loved to feel safe. Time, it all takes time. Be patient with yourself, with her, with the shared heart but also know time does also end. So tell her you love her, that you are doing the work, and actually do the work. She will stay.

She doesn't want you to let her go because you will create another you in her. she wants you to trust her in your way. slow and steady. to love her in your way. slow and steady. this was beautiful. not saying this is ever going to be your case. It was the case for me this last time. What if they leave bc of the way you flinch? I flinched from someone telling me she was going to put a ring on my finger one day bc this was a tool that was used to manipulate me in the past. Bc of how it made me feel.. Just wasn't the one but at this point I feel like bc I can't trust no one's going to be able to give the reassurance I now require. I'm safest wth myself. At least I treat me right. 🤷♀️

It’s scary when it’s so good! But when it’s right, they stay! They show you how it feels to be loved correctly! And it is wonderful! She will be patient with you! Be patient with yourself! I am proof that it will be ok. 5 years later I am still loved so perfectly. I offered her many chances to run but she stayed! Thankfully she stayed!
