@linneagonzales: DECEPTIVE PASSING:🏑🔥 What is it? And why is it important? Deceptive passing is when you do not SHOW where you want to go (body, eyes, or stick). It is CRUCIAL whether you are a defender, midfielder, or attacker to have this skill in your pocket and use it frequently. Not only does it buy your TEAMMATE time & space to recieve the ball… but it also allows you to execute more passes, thread the needle, and keep more possession of the ball. Think of it this way. If you stare down a pass or show it with your body, that is easy to intercept. When you lie with your eyes, lie with your body, lie with your stick - that is very hard to read! Try this out solo at home, at practice, and even in games. The more you practice it the more natural and ENGRAINED it becomes in your game. This is underrated skill that makes a HUGE difference.
