attach the pipe to the insert and push the whole thing up. Lately the hoods have been 5 or 6 feet wide and I have access on either side of the insert.

Cool. I’ll f the HVAC guys would leave flex duct hanging there and your top and back is mostly open it’s a cinch.

So our inspectors here want to see everything hooked up before it’s inclosed so I make mine where the whole top is a cap that goes on last.
