@heyskipperofficial: SMARTEST Japanese Fishing Hack!💡🎣 (The CHUM Basket Fishing Rig) The Japanese are incredibly clever with their approach to fishing, and we had the honor of learning a unique method called the chum basket technique. Japanese chum basket fishing (called sabiki tsuri or kago-zuke tsuri) for aji (Japanese horse mackerel) is a popular and effective coastal fishing method. A chum basket is attached to the fishing line, usually above a rig of small hooks (sabiki) dressed with flashy material to mimic baitfish. The basket is filled with chum, typically mashed sardines or ground bait to attract schooling fish like aji. You drop the rig vertically and jig the line gently, releasing chum while moving the hooks to trigger bites. The fish are attracted by the scent, they strike the hooks, often resulting in multiple fish caught at once. This technique is efficient and widely used in Japan because fishing pressure is intense and makes catching fish difficult sometimes. Would you try this technique? What do you think you would catch? #fishing #fyp #explore #reelit #fishingreel #fishinglife
