It just goes to show how society has become so pampered by CG effects. Expanding these scenes are beautiful but totally disrespects the true landscapes artists who painted the backgrounds and gave life to this historic film.

Charging up to $350 per seat for AI slop and a 20 minute shorter version of the film is criminal. No wonder the first days prime time show isn’t even 1/4 of the way sold out when they’ve been promoting this for months.

cool idea, poorly executed. if it was done for the art itself, that'd been cool. doing such a halfhearted job to a classic just to maximize profits sucks. and sucks worse because folks will eat it up leading to more. suppose if the market wants slop then nothing much to be done about it.

Upon further investigation it looks like even the compositing was done by AI. I’m not even a huge fan of the film, but the whole thing is a terrible idea and the finished product is pretty embarrassing for anyone involved.
