Kelly really mattered against Sweden. England were 2 nil down and about to go home. And again England were getting beaten by Spain but Kelly enabled the team to change shape and recover and win.

She really just gets overhyped. Like i get it she was good against Sweden and Italy and Wow she scored a penalty. But England have the second best squad in the world. Anything other than winning against these two would’ve been a failure. The reason why the mens team isn’t so successful is because they play exactly like the woman but have stronger opponents. Always loosing till the 85th minute and then coming back and winning with lucky goals. Problem is they have other teams with similar players aswell. The tactic works against Slovenia but when you try it against France or Spain you’ll probably loose. Oh and they probably wont get more money. UEFA actually lost money because of the Womans Euros. They posted a statement or something.
