Many years ago some airbuses crashed, basicly because of a difference of opinion about the risk to run into the ground between the pilots and the systems. I found this unbelievable, because I think the only logical response to this conflict is vigorously pulling up. So I definitely vote for the Boeing approach.

You don’t get a triple chime, it’s a continuous repetitive chime with red master warning light, which doesn’t go away until it’s cancelled.

I have experience on both and … It’s not entirely true! On a320 the depressurization alarm keeps shouting until you cancel it…having practiced this in the sim many times, it’s loud and you definitely hear it! Triple chime is NOT for depressurization ! The message is in the ECAM to follow a procedure meant to deal with the depressurization.. on Boeing you will have to locate the Non-Normal checklist (paper or electronic) which can take some crucial seconds … In the end, both work just different approach of how the procedure goes.

The whole Boeing approach is that pilots know best. They tend to ignore that pilots make a LOT of mistakes. Especially when you stress them (like with an screaming alarm). Airbus keeps their cool and informs pilots of what to do. Statistically, it's way better to keep calm.
