@novo.news: A small group came out to close the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham because it provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers. Some have criticised the presence of temporary accommodation for asylum seekers on the ground that they could present a risk to women and girls and the perceived cost which the national audit office confirmed had risen from about £4 billion to about £15 billion. There have been some confirmed cases of asylum seekers allegedly attacking women, however it is important not to generalise or draw general conclusions is every asylum seeker and every situation will be different. Others have stated that the presence of temporary accommodation for asylum because it’s necessary for Britain to have a place as a country with humanitarian concerns and that area such as Altrincham, can afford it. What do you think? Filmed, edited and produced by Graeme Smith
It’s not about protecting women and children. Say what it is, that they don’t want people who have a different skin colour or speak a different language or have a different religion to them living in their area. It is racism.

I’m from Altrincham and I’ve never been more ashamed of my area. I stand behind every human being just wanting to seek asylum

Heard on a radio show that 0.5% of the budget is spent on immigrants in England and Wales. Who genuinely looks at the numbers, while we’re here arguing or fighting amongst ourselves 💔❤️

The men take the journey first claim asylum then their family can come over safely. They don't want their children washed up on the beaches like that poor boy 💔

Don’t listen and stop trying to blame local people for things that happened years ago.. Stop the boats, stop using tax payers money to put them in hotels, let’s put our own homeless in these hotels and vote reform..
