I JUST turned 30 & I tell my mom often that since 28 I feel like I’ve been eagerly sitting in the waiting room of my future, but I can still look outside & see my past - but the door is locked & closed. I can’t go back, but they haven’t called me from the waiting room to fully enter the future either. This resonates so much. Thank you for sharing. 💓💓

I sat down with my dad, laughed and said to him it’s funny how I thought I’d be married by 27 yet I’m a month away from 26 and only been dating my current for 6 months. It’s sad when things you planned as a child doesn’t go the way we think but I suppose thats the way you learn that no matter how much we plan and think ahead the universe may have other plans
