This is my literal job! I have a roster of homeschool parents that I basically coach and keep accountable for actually teaching and let me tell you- the gentle parenting I do trying to guide some of these folks is WILD.

The thing is these people graduated from public school… if public school clearly failed them why would it work for their kids? Most homeschool families use online curriculum so it’s not like the child can’t learn more than the parent knows….

Homeschool isnt for everyone. but for some of us, its been wildly successful and my kids constantly destroy the standardized tests. example my 4th graders reading and comprehension at an 11th grade level. dont do it if youre not 100% committed to being there for your kids
