Bless you. It’s not easy; for you or for them. I was my mother‘s main caregiver for the last 11 years of her life. The last 4 became more intense and involved, then the final year almost did me in. I had help from my 2 brothers, but they both lived in another state, so I had to really make waves for them to really step up. Thankfully, we had home health at a certain point, and then ultimately we had hospice too. They were wonderful; all of them. We had some volunteers too. My mother ended up on hospice for almost 2 years. She had dementia and she finally passed at 98yrs old. I cherish my memories and even the hard times because even those hard times shaped me today. God bless you and both your parents. I took care of my dad too but only for his final 6 months. Mom lived another 11 yrs after he passed. Anyways. BLESSINGS and HUGS 🥰🙏🏼
