Nobody talks about this cafes because they are trying to get attention away from them. Most of these animals are mistreated, don't have the required living conditions they need, are drugged so they wont "go wild" on the guests visiting the cafe and come from animal trafficking. A lot of this owls go blind because of constant exposure to bright lights in this cafes, poor babys

This seems WILDLY unethical. They're wild animals and they're literally tied to the post as to keep them stationary. Just because we can doesn't mean we SHOULD.

Owls are nocturnal and shouldn’t be forced to be awake for “petting”. This is not an ethical location and should be avoided. Honestly, all of the exotic pet cafes in Japan should be avoided

No one talks about them bc it’s very unethical. Owls are nocturnal & should be living outside, hunting for their food & free/flying. These owls clearly don’t even get to fly & have their wings & talons clipped. Please don’t go to places like this.

I know 100% those barn owls are nocturnal. They live in my backyard tree and start flying around at sundown. So sad to see them cooped up and tied down in here.
