Does he not realize the Mexican government encouraged white settlement in Texas because they couldn’t control the Comanche mauraders who pillaged mexican towns? The Mexicans couldn’t beat the Comanche until white settlers banded with them and pushed them out. The comanche also were vile in their treatment of men, women, and children.
