@theflooflady: Egret the Orpington and her chicks are out of the coop for the first time since hatching. The chicks are a mix of Splash and Blue Marans, Exchequer Leghorns and Cream Legbats. For now, they are enclosed surrounded by boundary netting so that the chicks can recover from the effort of hatching. On Saturday or Sunday, the netting will be removed and Egret and her chicks can roam with the flock.
